Climate Change Project
What is climate change and how is it different from global warming?
Climate change is a long-term change in the normal weather patterns that have come to define Earth’s local, regional and global climates. Climate change encompasses global warming, and global warming correlates more to the actual increase of overall temperature in the earth's atmosphere.
Why should we care about climate change, now, when it's been happening naturally since the Earth began?
Climate change is a natural cycle the earth has been going through since the beginning of time, but humans have increased this process tremendously through the abuse of fossil fuels and vast production of carbon dioxide. With the whole earth heating up at such a rapid pace, ecosystems are being harmed, and we cannot keep up in order to offer the assistance to ecosystems and the earth we should be.
How does your project demonstrate your understanding of climate change?
The production, distribution and consumption of mass produced meat and dairy products fabricate half the carbon emissions of all food products, therefore directly correlating to the rise of carbon emissions and increase of climate change.
What was your largest area of growth during this project?
I learned about the difference between global warming and climate change alongside learning the value of staying on task and getting things done on time.
What was your greatest strength during this project?
I think I showed a lot of craftsmanship in my writing and I went through a lot of revisions to produce the final polished outcome we had.
